We decided to take a drive today, to give Merica something different to think about and to see! Cheryl took us to Grand Haven!
We saw 4 deer on the back road to the State Park! Can you see the ones on the right?
We went a little further and saw 3 more!
Kaitie had to miss school today because she had some problems! We saw a motorcycle with a handicap license--first time I've ever seen a motorcycle with one!It was fun to see the freighter!
Our former church is being razed....
Very tough to watch happen--we have many, many memories here--we were
members there for almost 20 years--several of my children
were baptized there---I directed many VBSs, Easter programs, Christmas
programs, was an AWANA leader for years, taught Sunday School there,
began and directed the Cubbies program...my daughter was married
there. Another daughter's funeral and my Dad's funeral were there.
Merica at home---the crutches are proving to be a little challenging!
Spencer delivered a packet of cards from Merica's class for her today! She was so thrilled! Promptly worked on a thank you card for them!
