Day 151, Wednesday, May 30, 2012

Mahree brought one of her Himalayan baby bunnies in the house before school today!  Her kitty-cat, Tink-Addy, was a bit jealous!

Sam goes half days on Mondays and Wednesdays---after school the parents line up their cars to take turns picking up their children.  Sam appears to have two little girls talking to him!  He likes to take a "nap" in my room on those half days and watch TV with a headset!

We've been working on cleaning out our garage in anticipation of Kaitie's graduation open house on Sat., June 9, 2012! Cheryl & Bonnie have done by far the majority of the work! Kaitie also helped after dinner!

After dinner Meika finished her lemonade, and Mahree read a book on her Kindle Fire.

Sam and Merica having fun on the kids' computer---playing a John Deere game!

Spencer is growing up so nicely---he asked for paper to draw something!   He's excited that the Stewart family plans to visit us starting this Saturday!

Cody went to bed, but obviously wasn't tired---loves to wear hats and "read" books!

Day 150, Tuesday, May 29, 2012

We took Vickie out for coffee this morning.  She has been living in a trailer in Cutlerville, but is moving to Battle Creek later this week.

Pinky fingers show the genetic connection!

Vickie!  She had a problem, and had her hair cut off, but it's growing back!
Various photos of Rosie & Vickie

Vickie showed us her cat, Big Foot, with 6 toes on his foot!

Day 149, Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012

First thing this morning Mahree took care of her cavies...Noodles is on the left and below by the interested bearded dragon (either Nemo or Eloise)
and to the right is
     the baby Abyssian, Peeta!

Mahree and I went out to get flowers, and Bonnie, Mahree, and Sam went with me to put flowers on my parents' grave, Margie's grave (my daughter), and Jessica's grave (my great niece.)  Sam was very curious about the masoleum, and so Bonnie took him in to see it.

Bonnie and Rosie (with Ozzie!)  Meika didn't want to wear the patriotic necklace!

I took pictures of everyone with their patriotic necklaces!

Merica!

Ellsbeth lives in the same condo that Rosie does, and she came to visit us!
Mahree made a great patriotic dessert!
Everyone was bustling about preparing for our indoor picnic----just too hot for most of the family to eat indoors!  The steaks were on the grill and the burgers were done!

Mahree and Cheryl went to put frozen water bottles in the rabbits' cages because of the heat.

Time to eat all the good food!
 naptime

Mahree brought Cinna down to say hi--I think he was a little afraid!
There was even time for the boys to play in the sprinklers & little pool---89 degrees!
