Day 112, Saturday, April 21, 2012

 Sam was fascinated with watching Mahree's dance class!

Mahree went to Megan's birthday party! 

 Megan, Aubree, Stephanie, and Mahree---Diane, Abby, and another friend were already gone by the time I took the pictures!

Kaitie went to a party for the graduating seniors from the Homeschool Building...they were first at the Sports Plex and then went to one of the senior's home!  She had a good time!

Day 111, Friday, April 20, 2012

I drove Mahree to the bus stop--it was lightly raining....

After school Merica had a Brownie Pizza party to celebrate the cookie sales this year!  Since we were a bit strapped for adults tonight, Kaitie came along for her adult participant! 

Merica has a 7:00 PM appointment to get her hair re-done at Lexis J's.  I took her beads out to help Rhonda, and hopefully speed up the process!!

Auntie has been taking Simeon along for all the rides, and I stayed home and fed the gang sloppy joes here as well! The P Family stopped over to deliver Kaitie's yearbook and her flower that the seniors were presented with last night.

She couldn't attend the concert (which she wasn't in) to have the flower presented, because we just didn't have enough adults to go around with Simeon's needs.  We had a nice visit, and the Place children signed Kaitie's yearbook!

 Poor Meika has a cold, and says her head hurts.  She doesn't have a fever, and had a hearty appetite!!

Simeon asked me to take his picture when he saw me take the one of Meika & her baby!  He can smile so sweetly!  He's been all over the place tonight--had a bath, snack, and a few rides to keep him on an even keel!





Rosie invited Bonnie to her condo for sloppy joes and games!  Pictures to follow!

Finally got home from getting Merica's hair done at 9:30 PM. 
Rhonda did a wonderful job---as always!!

Day 110, Thursday, April 19, 2012

Simeon came home from school today, and went outside right away.  A staff person was supposed to come and tail him for 2 1/2 hours, but had a family emergency and couldn't come.  We gave him his meds, and prepared for him to be rather agitated, as he often is these days.  Auntie had Cody at the hospital for an EEG, and Mom had to pick Mahree up for her dance class..There was a lite rain, so we were so sure Simeon would be right back in the house.  He surprised us all----he shot hoops for over 3 hours---I am totally convinced it was a God-thing! 

I took this picture of Cody this morning, and forgot I had it, so these pictures are a bit out of order.  Cody absolutely loves to watch Veggies Tales, and he was giggling so hard!  Love to see him like this.  He had an EEG after school today, and we see the neurologist next week to find out the results.  He had a grand mal seizure last month that surprised us all, so we want to find out what is going on with him.  He did well with the EEG, except for the last 10 mintures when he began to laugh and laugh!!

Day 109, Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Today my daughter, Jackie, is 36!   She has separated herself from the family, but we continue to pray for her and love her.

 On my way to pick Mahree up from dance, the sky looked so beautiful                                             that I snapped a pic at a stop light.

Mahree dances with friends at Hearts in Step Christian Dance Academy in her jazz class!  She asked me why I "always" take pictures of her!  Told her it was because I love her!!

Kaitie was enjoying her chocolate shake, and I took a picture of her!

Sadie doesn't usually play with toys, but she seems to like this knitted ball!

I enjoyed catching my girls off guard tonight!  Bonnie was getting my purse for me, as I had once again left my phone in it!

Day 107, Monday, April 16, 2012

Follow-up appointment for Mahree's toe surgery!  All is well--continue soaks for 7-10 days!

Auntie is off on her nightly drive with Simeon!  Tonight she has Bonnie & Kaitie, and they will pick up Rosie and go to dance class!

Very gusty winds today!

The winds have blown all day---it feels SO cold, but was 64 earlier!

Asked Merica to take Tuffy out to go potty, and she donned her hat and coat over her pjs, and without being asked, fed and watered the cats and dogs!  She is such a good worker!  (oh, and she did wear something on her feet!!)

Day 106, Sunday, April 15, 2012

My turn to drive Simeon proved to be a difficult event----he was pretty off the wall....couldn't stay in his seatbelt at the airport as he usually can. 

 Since Bonners live close by, we went to pick up eggs that Heidi had left for me last Sunday, and to my delight Heidi and family were visiting when we arrived!  I "cut off" Heidi's head when Bonnie & she shared a hug, and Sydney came out to greet us, and gave a greeting to Hank first!

Simeon was very agitated, and Mahree got him involved with the iPad.  She was amazing with him....he settled right in as she gently but firmly steered him to the sites that would interest him!!

 Mahree is reading The Hunger Games, and is on chapter 5---just started!  Sadie is her willing pillow!

Sam took a nap in my room today----Molly was quite curious about the change in routine!!!

Deadline is tomorrow for the 4th grade collage I made for the yearbook this year---this is for Spencer's class.
